NESTOR Australien fund
The NESTOR Australien fund prefers to invest in equities, convertible bonds and bond options, participation and dividend right certificates and option certificates on securities issued by companies whose registered office is in Australia or New Zealand or which concentrate their business operations there. If it appears appropriate to do so, up to 10% of the net fund assets of the sub-fund can be held in the form of investments outside these countries.
The fund assets may also, to a subordinate extent, be invested in variable- and fixed-interest securities and other permitted assets.
In the interests of enhanced growth, the management company may, as part of its efficient management of the sub-fund’s assets, conclude financial futures contracts and options transactions on stock market indices and securities even if these do not serve to secure assets belonging to the sub-fund.
Investors can now buy in to the NESTOR fund (ISIN: LU0535252539, WKN: A1C 35X) with a minimum investment of EUR 1 million. The fund is being marketed without a front-end load and in multiples of EUR 5,000.

Fund adviser
Wilhelm Schröder
Wilhelm Schröder has been the advisor to the NESTOR Australia Fund since its inception in May 2002. He has been involved in equities from “Down Under” for 25 years.
Born in Lüneburg, he started out studying agricultural sciences in Göttingen and Munich. In 1986, he worked for the brokers Jacksons Ltd of London and Kleinworts, gaining his first experience of specialising in shares from the world’s fifth continent. From 1989 to 2005 he headed up the Munich branch of Macquarie Bank, Australia's largest investment bank. He then set up his own firm, Schröder Equities GmbH. Since then, working with an Australian partner, he has been advising institutional investors on where to place their money and Australian companies on capital markets matters.
The NESTOR Australia Fund has received several awards from the magazine €uro. In 2009, he achieved performance of almost 200 per cent and topped the rankings – even making it to Number 1 out of all funds in Austria. “Above all else, Australia’s success is founded on proximity to Asia, wealth of raw materials and the healthy state of the nation's finances," he explains. The success story continues, but triumphs on this scale are hard to repeat. His long-term performance target for the fund is 10-15% p.a. Since inception, it has achieved an increase of 14% p.a.
